Puppy Contract and Agreement

This constitutes a legal and binding contract between the seller, Grooming by Nicole LLC and the buyer, __________________________ to purchase ____________________________

On this day _________ of ____________ 20___, for the price of $_______. A non-refundable deposit was placed in the amount of $_____ leaving a balance of $______  which is required to be paid prior to the puppy being shipped or picked up.

You will need to pick up your puppy by DATE:__________________ or forfeit the deposit and the puppy. Please note any deposit will be NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE under any and all circumstances.

A deposit is required to hold a specific puppy for you. The puppy on hold will not be available to any other prospective buyer. Transferring the deposit to another puppy will cause us to lose several potential sales while the puppy is marked as sold.

·        To the best of our knowledge said puppy/dog is in healthy and sound condition at the time of the sale. Buyer has 48 hours from the time of delivery/pick up to have a vet check done by a licensed veterinarian. After the 48 hours, we offer a 1 year genetic defect guarantee. If your puppy is found to have some type of genetic defect we will replace your dog with a new puppy from next available litter. This way you have some safety in knowing that your puppy is healthy and free of genetic defects.

·        Buyer is required to have a licensed veterinarian administer 2 more vaccines to said puppy. Parvo and distemper vaccines must be given at 2 three week intervals following the initial vaccination by the breeder.

·        If the buyer fails to have the vet check done within 48 hours or fails to continue vaccines as stated, this contract will be NULL and VOID. Keep shot records from your vet.

·        All puppies/dogs are sold as PET QUALITY only. This does not mean they are not show/breed quality.

·        Health guarantee does not cover any treatable conditions such as internal or external parasites.

·        Only untreatable, genetic diseases or defects will be considered on an individual basis.

·        Seller is in no way responsible for any vet bills made after the puppy/dog leaves the care of Grooming by Nicole LLC. In the event a problem should arise with said puppy, it shall be replaced with a puppy of equal value from the next available litter provided the puppy is returned to the breeder in the same condition as it was sold. Buyer must provide a letter from a licensed veterinarian stating the condition of the puppy.

·        Seller will not refund payment in any circumstance.

·        Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer including if the puppy is sent back or replaced.

·        Any and all vet costs will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. NO EXCEPTIONS.

·        Seller is in no way responsible for any injury or death of said puppy due to negligence or carelessness of any airline or other live animal carrier, it’s agents, employees or the buyer.

This contract is under the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. In the event of any dispute, it is agreed the venue shall be in Nelson County, Kentucky.
